Muscle Pull

Muscle strain, Muscle pull refers to damage to a muscle or its attaching tendons. Usually its result of Sports Injury. When we put undue pressure on muscles during the course of normal daily activities like

  1. Sudden Heavy Lifting
  2. Sports - Running, Swimming
  3. Playing Tennis, Cricket, Football etc.

Muscle Pull is primarily of two types:-

  1. Tearing of Ligaments - Joint Sprain
  2. Tearing of Muscles or Tendons - Joint Strain

Muscle damage can be in the form of tearing of the muscle fibers and tendons attached to the muscle. The tearing of the muscle can also damage small blood vessels, causing local bleeding, or bruising, and pain caused by irritation of the nerve endings in the area.
